Our Chapter History
For 30 years, the Golden Corridor Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. has been a positive force in our community, through our dedication to philanthropic service, and fostering the development of strong character, leadership, and social responsibility in our daughters.
In late August and September of 1986, a group of women from Plano, Richardson and North Dallas attended organizational meetings and formed a prospective National Charity League, Inc. Chapter. Twenty mothers and twenty-one daughters decided to join together in this chapter. After only seven months, the Golden Corridor Chapter was granted provisional status in May 1987. The Chapter received its Charter just two years after holding their first meeting in October, 1988.
The NCL, Inc. Golden Corridor Chapter is in Region 2 which represents Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas and is composed of 64 chapters. We are in District 16 which has 10 chapters from the North Dallas area.
